Nine teams – ARIZONA, BUFFALO, BALTIMORE, CHICAGO, GREEN BAY, KANSAS CITY, LOS ANGELES RAMS, PITTSBURGH and TENNESSEE – improved to 2-0 on Sunday. With 1-0 teams meeting on both Sunday Night Football (New England at Seattle) and Monday Night Football (New Orleans at Las Vegas), 11 teams will begin the season 2-0. Tied with 2008, 2006 and 1998 for the most in a single season.

Three quarterbacks under the age of 25 – Buffalo’s JOSH ALLEN, Cincinnati’s JOE BURROW and Jacksonville’s GARDNER MINSHEW – each passed for at least 300 yards and three touchdowns in Week 2. It marks the third time in NFL history that three quarterbacks under the age of 25 have passed for 300 yards and three touchdowns in the same week, joining Week 10 of the 2019 season (DANIEL JONES, PATRICK MAHOMES and KYLER MURRAY) and Week 6 of the 2018 season (PATRICK MAHOMES, MITCHELL TRUBISKY and JAMEIS WINSTON). Los Angeles Chargers quarterback JUSTIN HERBERT, the No. 6 overall selection in the 2020 NFL Draft, passed for 311 yards with one touchdown and rushed for a touchdown in Week 2.

Herbert joins Pro Football Hall of Famer OTTO GRAHAM (1950) and CAM NEWTON (2011) as the only players with at least 300 passing yards and a rushing touchdown in their first career game in NFL history.

The GREEN BAY PACKERS registered 488 net yards of offense in their 42-21 victory over Detroit in Week 2.

In Week 1, the Packers recorded 522 net yards of offense in their 43-34 win at Minnesota. Green Bay, who has totaled 85 points and 1,010 net yards of offense this season, is the fourth team to score at least 80 points and register at least 1,000 net yards of offense through the first two weeks of a season in NFL history. They are joining the 2019 BALTIMORE RAVENS, 1998 SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS and 1991 BUFFALO BILLS.

The DALLAS COWBOYS, who trailed by nine points at the two-minute warning of the fourth quarter, defeated Atlanta, 40-39, in Week 2 on a 46-yard field goal by GREG ZUERLEIN as time expired.

The Cowboys are the third team in the past 15 regular seasons to overcome a two-score deficit in the final two minutes and win in regulation, joining the NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (December 8, 2013 vs. Cleveland) and SAN DIEGO CHARGERS (December 14, 2008 at Kansas City).

Dallas quarterback DAK PRESCOTT passed for 450 yards with one touchdown and rushed for three touchdowns in the victory.

Prescott is the first player with at least 400 passing yards and three rushing touchdowns in a single game in NFL history. Prescott, currently in his fifth season, recorded his 16th career game with both a passing touchdown and a rushing touchdown. He is surpassing STEVE GROGAN (15 games) for the third-most such games by a player in his first five seasons. Only CAM NEWTON (31 games) and DAUNTE CULPEPPER (18) have more.

Atlanta wide receiver CALVIN RIDLEY recorded 109 receiving yards and two touchdowns in Week 2. Ridley, who had 130 receiving yards and two touchdowns in Week 1, is the first player since Pro Football Hall of Famer MARVIN HARRISON (1999) to record at least 100 receiving yards and two touchdowns in each of his team’s first two games of a season.

Buffalo quarterback JOSH ALLEN passed for 417 yards with four touchdowns and zero interceptions for a 147.0 passer rating in the Bills‘ 31-28 win over Miami in Week 2.

Allen, who has passed for 729 yards, six touchdowns and zero interceptions in the first two weeks of the 2020 season, is the fourth quarterback with at least 700 passing yards, six touchdown passes and zero interceptions through his team’s first two games of a season in NFL history, joining TOM BRADY (2015), PATRICK MAHOMES (2019) and PEYTON MANNING (2013).

Pittsburgh rookie wide receiver CHASE CLAYPOOL, a native of Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada, registered an 84-yard touchdown reception in the Steelers‘ 26-21 victory over Denver in Week 2. It marked the longest touchdown from scrimmage by a Canadian-born player in NFL history.

Tennessee kicker STEPHEN GOSTKOWSKI kicked a 49-yard field goal with 1:36 remaining to give the Titans a 33-30 victory over Jacksonville in Week 2.

Gostkowski, who converted a 25-yard game-winning field goal with 17 seconds remaining in Week 1, is the first kicker since ADAM VINATIERI (1999 with New England) to kick a game-winning field goal in the final two minutes of regulation in each of his team’s first two games of a season.
