AFL PLAYER OF THE WEEK 1:
KEVIN BURKE
Quarterback Dacia Vikings Vienna
Kevin Burke komplettierte im Spiel der Woche 1 der Austrian Football League – Ljubljana Silverhawks vs. Dacia Vikings Vienna – 24 seiner 38 Pässe für 343 Yard und vier Touchdowns. Darüber hinaus lief er über 57 Yards zu zwei weiteren Touchdowns. 400 Yards Offense und 6 Touchdowns sind es damit in Summe.
Kevin hat von 2011 bis 2014 für Mount Union gespielt, einem Division III College in Alliance, Ohio. Es ist seine erste Saison in der Kampfmannschaft der Vikings . Zuvor spielte er 2015 als Starting QB von Team USA in der IFAF World Championship. Gemeinsam mit Team USA gewann er dieses Turnier und ist somit regierender Weltmeister im Amateur Football.

"I’m watching a lot of film. There is more mental preparation than anything. I’m going through a lot of scenarios in my head, what can happen on the field and how I can adjust to that  But the most important thing is being on the same page with the other 10 players on my team. My teammates are very good at what they do."
