Saturday, against Arkansas State, the now #4 Oregon Ducks and their new quarterback Marcus Mariota took just 23 minutes to score 50 points. The Ducks began the game 7 for 7, scoring touchdowns on each of their first seven drives. With 7 minutes to play in the second quarter and the score 50-3, Oregon’s coach Chip Kelley pulled his starting line-up from the game. As a result, every uniformed Duck received playing time.

Next the #4 Ducks play the Fresno State Bulldogs. This past Saturday, the Bulldogs looked sharp, soundly defeating Weber State 37-10. Like the Ducks, the Bulldogs had a commanding lead early in the second quarter and coasted to victory. This game will be the ninth time meeting of the two teams. Oregon leads the all-time series 6-2. Oregon has won the last five meetings but four of those five games were close, decided by four points or less.
As you all know, I love motivational football videos. The Oregon Football Program produces motivational pump-up videos that are viewed by the entire team prior to each game. Here is the video watched prior to the Arkansas State game.
And don’t forget the Oregon mascot. He’s also been busy. Here’s the Oregon Duck Gangnam style.
