This year’s national championship game between the #2 Auburn Tigers (12-1) and #1 Florida State Seminoles (13-0) is sure be an excellent match-up. FSU is led by their Heisman trophy winning QB "Famous" Jameis Winston and they look to be unstoppable. On the other side of the ball, the Auburn Tigers are a story of miraculous endings. Against Georgia they won with a Hail Mary pass and against Alabama they won on the final play of the game in most unusual fashion. Here are the highlights:
vs. Alabama

The next best bowl to watch is the 100th Rose Bowl played on New Years Day. This year’s match is between #5 Stanford (11-2) vs. #4 Michigan State (12-1). Both these two teams are solid, best known for their strong line play.
Of course, there are many other good match-ups too. My favorite will be the Alamo Bowl played on December 30th in San Antonio Texas. It features the #10 Oregon Ducks (10-2) vs Texas Longhorns (8-4).
For Oregon fans this year has been a slight let-down. To begin the season, expectations were very high, so high that for some fans nothing less than a National Championship would do. But realistically, it is an honor for the Ducks to play in the Alamo Bowl. For the Ducks this was a transition year with a new head coach and his staff. Mark Helfrich has had a great first year, and a victory in the Alamo bowl would be a great way to finish.
Before I go, I’d remind everyone that the Ducks still are the leaders in football fashion. Nike has announced the Ducks will once again be wearing new uniforms. Here’s a preview.
And the Motivational videos won’t stop either.

Mike Resch reporting from Eugene Oregon where it never rains, it only pours touchdowns.
