This Saturday the Nebraska Cornhuskers come to Eugene Oregon to play the Ducks in Autzen Stadium. Last year the #22 Ducks travelled to Lincoln and lost a back-and-forth struggle 35-32. It was the beginning of the end for former coach Mark Helfrich. Nebraska is coached by former Oregon State Beavers coach Mike Riley. Riley is a native Oregonian much beloved for his outstanding character and integrity. Even so, Riley is 1-6 at Autzen, and the Ducks hope to make it 1-7.
Nebraska will be Oregon’s first BIG challenge of the new Willie Taggart era. Taggart’s coaching career at Oregon started last week with an exceptional show of offensive power. The Ducks defeated Southern Utah University 77-21 while scoring eight rushing touchdowns. Seventy-seven points scored and eight rushing touchdowns are both new records at Autzen Stadium. But the best play of the game was the first one. The Ducks scored on the first play with RB Tony Brooks-James running the kick-off back for a TD.

Here’s an amateur video of the kickoff showing the stadium and fans.

For those of you who enjoy motivational football videos as much as I do, here’s one for the Ducks 2017-2018 campaign.
