Die sechs Playoff-Teilnehmer in der AFC stehen mit New England, Oakland, Kansas City, Pittsburgh, Miami und Houston fest. Es geht nur noch um den #1 Seed und den Titel in der AFC West.
Viel mehr Action gibt es ist in der NFC. Die Washington Redskins haben noch Chancen auf eine Playoff-Teiinahme. Voraussetzung dafür wäre ein Sieg über die New York Giants (live auf Puls 4 zu sehen), die auf Platz 5 des Seedings "locked" sind und dass es bei der Partie zwischen Detroit und Green Bay im letzten Spiel der Regular Season einen Sieger und kein Unentschieden gibt.
Weiters haben die Detroit Lions und auch die Seattle Seahawks noch Chancen auf den #2 Seed und damit auf ein 1st Round Bye. Dazu müsste zuallererst die aktuelle Nummer 1 Atlanta gegen New Orleans verlieren.
