This weekend College Football turns its attention back to the PAC-12. The best game of the weekend is #23 California at #5 Utah. Many prognosticators speculate that Utah might deserve to be the number one team in the nation. But in the crazy PAC-12 conference no team is safe. This season in the PAC-12 the home team is 2-10. Yes, the home team has lost 10 of 12 games!!! Oregon fans should be worried. The Washington State Cougars (2-2) are coming to Eugene. Oregon (3-2) can’t afford another loss. Not since 2009, Chip Kelley’s first year as head coach, has Oregon lost three games in one season.
Last weekend Oregon recovered from its loss to Utah by defeating Colorado 41-24. It wasn’t an overwhelming victory, but it counts as a W in the win-loss tally. Oregon starting QB Vernon Adams did not play, and won’t play this weekend either. News is that he will play again Arizona State. That game is in four weeks, enough time to let his broken index finger has heal.
Here is a highlight video of the best plays of the Oregon Colorado game.
For those of you who enjoy motivational videos here’s the Ducks’ pump-up video for the WSU game.
